The first tents I camped in were old ex-Army biviouacs: canvas, two man, with separate groundsheet.

Those did very well for 10 years.

Then I bought myself a Vango Force 10. Integral groundsheet, flysheet, and a bell end for storage. Luxury! And waterproof.

Now we go family camping in a two compartment vis a vis dome cum tunnel: highly waterproof and with a modicom of space.
